I the season finale of "Gift vid första ögonkastet" it is only Dennis and Jannika Svensson who choose to continue being married to each other.
Surrealistiskt
Dennis Svensson describes the experience of being in the program as "surrealistisk".
One may not have understood exactly at first what one was participating in or what it meant. But it was very fun, I must say. And very intense, he says.
During the course of the season, Dennis Svensson has been very open about his challenges, including sleep apnea and potency problems. Being able to show oneself vulnerable in front of the cameras is about trusting that the team from SVT respects the participants' personal integrity, he means:
Many scenes are fragile and vulnerable, and it is taken into the program. At the same time, it is only a small fraction of everything we filmed, he says.
It was just Dennis and Jannika who managed to get through the experiment due to advice from previous participants in the program.
It's about attitude and time. We both really wanted it to work. And to understand that you have to work together, even in setbacks, for it to work. To communicate, I think was the recipe for our part, he says.

Dennis Svensson urges everyone who is considering applying to "Gift vid första ögonkastet" to dare to do it.
I also want to urge people to dare to show themselves vulnerable even if they are a man. And to go in wholeheartedly, not to shut themselves in but to really just be themselves, he says and continues:
I don't regret a second that I've been in it. It's been an incredible journey to be a part of.
