The new package has a value of 4.2 billion Danish kronor and is to be used to purchase artillery ammunition and equipment for the Ukrainian air force, writes the Ministry of Defence in a press release.
The money comes from a Ukraine fund, where 66.1 billion Danish kronor have been set aside to support Ukraine militarily during the years 2023-2028.
The new package leaves 2 billion Danish kronor remaining to be spent.
Earlier, Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen (Venstre) has stated that the fund will be replenished in 2025.
