The book is part of Rudberg's novel series "The Counter-Insurgents", which is about female codebreakers during World War II, and is read by Marie Richardson.
"Imagine if my two grandmothers and my grandmother had been part of this. That they, with their different personalities, inspired my characters that reached hundreds of thousands of people," says Denise Rudberg in a press release.
Detective series also take second and third place on the list: Dag Öhrlund's "The Dollmaker" and "Skallskada", by Mikael Ressem.
Several older titles have also been given new life: Christopher Nolan's film "The Odyssey" increased listening to Homer's classic epic by 3,550 percent, compared with the same period last year. Listening to John Ajvide Lindqvist's "The Black" also increased.
