Malmö's primary school principal received an anonymous tip about videos that were spread on social media.
In the videos, the teacher, wearing a Malmö city name badge, is seen mocking and threatening students. The teacher is heard saying that a student is possessed by a devil and is reciting verses from the Quran to "cure" the student.
When confronted, the teacher admits that they read the Quran so that students would be "cured", and that children had been subjected to threats of violence.
At a later stage, the teacher instead stated that the videos were AI-generated, something that was denied by the city of Malmö's IT specialist.
