New requirements are added daily, according to The Wall Street Journal.

A total of $130 billion in tariffs were collected during the ten months they were in effect. According to the U.S. Customs Service, at least 301,000 importers paid the tariffs.

The flood of lawsuits is being handled in a special federal court for international trade, based in New York.

On Wall Street, meanwhile, the price of potential refund claims for the rejected tariffs - which can be purchased by investors who want to act as collection agencies - has doubled in a matter of days, from 20 cents on the dollar to around 40 cents on the dollar, The Wall Street Journal reports.
