During the night towards Saturday, a derailment occurred in Hässleholm, causing major delays and cancelled traffic.
A wagon in a freight train has derailed. A crane is needed to lift the train away, said Bengt Olsson, press chief at the Transport Administration, on Saturday morning.

The Southern Main Line and also the Scanian Line were affected by the stop, where several stations between Malmö and Stockholm were impacted.
Just before 1 pm, traffic had partially resumed after Skånetrafiken and the Transport Administration decided to open up a single track, writes Sydsvenskan.
The stop continues to affect traffic for the rest of the day, where delays are to be expected.
