Late on Monday night, Dejan Kulusevski made a celebrated appearance in the final minutes as Tottenham beat Coventry 3-1 in the Premier League.

Aftonbladet was on site in London and spoke to the Blue and Yellow star after his comeback.

"It really feels like I'm starting to feel at home at this club, and they know who I am. I know who they are, and together we want to move forward, so it was absolutely fantastic to play in this stadium again," Kulusevski told the newspaper.

He injured his knee in a match against Crystal Palace on May 11 last year. After two major surgeries and missing the World Cup this summer, his return was long awaited, to say the least.

Kobe Bryant always said that the storm will eventually pass. So that's what I waited for. I stayed ready, and then, when the opportunity came, I was ready to play.

Tottenham next face Chelsea away on Saturday.

The Swedish national team, for which Kulusevski has not played since November 2024, will conclude the Nations League with matches against Bosnia-Herzegovina and Poland in mid-November. The question is whether Dejan Kulusevski will also make a comeback for the Blue and Yellow.
