At least six people were killed when Jordan’s military carried out strikes against what it described as “terrorist organizations’ hideouts” in Syria, according to Syrian authorities.
Health authorities have lowered the death toll from eight. Three of those killed are said to be children.
The Jordanian attack was in response to an attack in which nine people were killed and about 20 injured when gunmen opened fire inside a Greek Orthodox church in southern Jordan on Friday.
