Two of the three were shot dead in the town of Abu Falah, north of Ramallah, according to Palestinian health authorities. Palestinian Vice President Hussein al-Sheikh condemned the "brutal attack on innocent citizens" on X, writing that three were killed and seven were injured.
The Israeli military also confirmed the shooting and said that the third Palestinian died of suffocation.
"An unacceptable incident," said Major General Avi Bluth, who leads Israel's military in the occupied West Bank.
"There is zero tolerance for Israeli civilians taking the law into their own hands. This behavior is dangerous."
Violence in the occupied West Bank escalated during the Gaza War and Israeli settlers have advanced their positions there in regular clashes.
