A total of 15 people have been confirmed dead, of which at least nine on Bali. An additional six people are missing after the bad weather that has forced evacuations, according to the disaster authority's spokesperson Abdul Muhari.
Southwestern Bali was particularly hard hit, and the water continued to rise on Wednesday. On the island of Flores, around 20 villages have been isolated as roads have been completely destroyed.
However, the high water levels on the island of Flores were reported to decrease during the day.
The tropical storms struck the islands at the beginning of the week, and in several regions, electricity and water have been shut off due to safety risks.
