A car bomb has exploded at a busy courthouse in Islamabad. Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi describes it as a suicide bombing, killing more than ten people.

The bomb appears to have exploded on the street in front of the court, which is usually crowded with people passing in and out of various court hearings. And the victims are also described as mostly people who just happened to be passing by at that time. Of them, more than ten were killed and about 50 were injured, Naqvi said, according to Pakistani media.

It was not immediately clear who was behind the attack, but many suspect extremists with links to Afghanistan, as a violent border conflict between the two neighbors flared up in October.
