The discussions concern, among other things, compensation levels in the event of delays and the right to bring hand luggage at no extra cost.
However, no agreement is expected until Tuesday at the earliest, after the issue is also to be raised by EU transport ministers at a meeting in Luxembourg.
A solution must be found by June 15th to prevent the entire proposal from falling through.
