It was the police who found the deceased person last night in the previously established search area just south of Uddevalla.
"We have returned to this search area several times since the beginning of January. This is partly because of the very difficult weather conditions and the large amounts of snow when the search operation began," says Adam Isaksson Samara, press spokesman for the police.
The woman was last seen alive in central Uddevalla on January 6, and a major search operation was launched. A murder investigation was opened to expand the police's powers, but there is still no indication that she was the victim of a crime, according to the police.
