In a first attack, against Doueir in Nabatiyeh province, one person was killed and seven others were injured. This was followed by another person being killed in a second attack, against Aita al-Shaab in the same province.
The attack in Doueir reportedly targeted a car. According to the pro-government Lebanese news agency NNA, a shopping mall was also damaged.
The attacks come after Israel threatened on Sunday to expand its attacks on Iran-backed Hezbollah, which entered into a ceasefire with Israel in November last year.
Despite the ceasefire, Israel has continued to repeatedly bomb targets in Lebanon. On Saturday, four people were killed in an Israeli attack on Nabatiyeh province.
