The competition is aimed at all fourth-graders in Sweden and encourages more reading. Since its inception, hundreds of thousands of students have participated.
"Everything good that has happened to me is thanks to reading a lot as a child. I want to share this recipe for success," says David Sundin in a press release.
The Great Reading Challenge is a joint initiative from Adlibris, Bonnier Carlsen, Natur & Kultur, Rabén & Sjögren and Bonniers Familjestiftelse. This year's edition opens for registration on June 3.
