The musician David Kaff, who played the keyboardist ”Viv Savage” in the hard rock mockumentary ”This is Spinal Tap” from 1984, is dead.
Kaff's death is confirmed by his band, Mutual of Alamedas Wild Kingdom, on Facebook.
David Kaff is said to have ”passed away peacefully in his sleep”, according to the post. He became 79 years old.
A sequel to "Spinal Tap" – ”Spinal Tap 2: The end continues” and gets its US premiere on September 12. Kaff was however not involved in the sequel.
