The film is about a young father whose life is turned upside down when his deceased mother's body is brought back to life and sent to live with him.
David F Sandberg achieved viral success in 2014 with the short film “Lights Out,” which was later turned into a feature film. He has since made major Hollywood productions such as “Annabelle: Creation” and the superhero films “Shazam!” and “Shazam! Fury of the Gods.”
When the latter film flopped in 2023, the Swede wrote on Twitter: “Enough with superheroes now.” In 2025, the horror film “Until Dawn,” about a group of friends who are murdered time and time again, premiered.
