Two of film history's most iconic objects – Darth Vader's laser sword and Indiana Jones' whip – are being sold in September at a memorabilia auction in Los Angeles, writes Dagens Industri.
The Star Wars character's sword from the films "The Empire Strikes Back" (1980) and "Return of the Jedi" (1983) is expected, according to the auction house Propstore – specialized in film and TV memorabilia – to bring in between one–three million dollars, equivalent to approximately 10–30 million kronor.
A complete set of Indiana Jones' whip, original belt and holster is estimated to go under the hammer for 250,000–500,000 dollars, equivalent to approximately 2.5–5 million kronor.
Also, Daniel Radcliffe's Harry Potter glasses and Tom Hanks' clothes from the film "Cast away" are up for sale.
