The Danish major bank Danske Bank – number five on the Swedish bank market – is raising its profit forecast for 2024.
The net profit for the full year is expected to be 21–23 billion Danish kronor, which can be compared to an earlier forecast of 20–22 billion.
The average forecast among analysts was, prior to the forecast increase, a profit of 21.3 billion this year, according to a compilation of forecasts from Bloomberg.
Danske Bank's share is rising on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange following the forecast increase, which comes ahead of the bank's interim report for the second quarter of the year on 19 July.
