After World War II, Dane Walther Frisch was sentenced to a year in prison for collaborating with the Germans. Through fertility treatments performed at Karolinska Hospital, he later fathered at least 15 children in four countries: Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Germany.
In a DR documentary, two of them question how the man could have been approved as a donor.
Heinrich Himmler said that every SS officer should have at least four children. Are we the result of Nazi ideology? says one of the donor children, Mats Rydberg, in the documentary.
The hospital has declined an interview, but tells DR that information about the Danish donor is missing.
