Several shots were fired at close range at a 37-year-old man near Vesterport station in Copenhagen in the early evening of October 19, 2023. The police said from the start that the suspected murderer was wearing an orange jacket and had a blue bag on his back, the type used by food delivery couriers.
The then 18-year-old Swede was arrested a month later. During the trial, he confessed to the murder, according to TV2 and Ekstrabladet.
Two Danish citizens charged with helping him have been acquitted.
