The Danish Conservative Party leader Mona Juul has been mistaken for the Norwegian diplomat of the same name, who is mentioned in the Epstein files.

Norwegian Mona Juul recently resigned as ambassador to Jordan after it was revealed that she had contact with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Several media outlets, including Aftonbladet and the German Die Welt, used the wrong picture of Juul in their reporting. Instead of the Norwegian UN ambassador, a photo of the Danish party leader was shown.

SVT also made the same mistake on Sunday night's "Rapport". The public service channel has made a correction and has apologized to the wrongly identified Mona Juul.
