Daniel Hermansson is Skellefteå AIK's new head coach. The 43-year-old is recruited from HockeyAllsvenskan Mora. He thus completes a coaching staff that already includes Pierre Johnsson and Andreas Falk.
"I want us to play intense hockey. Working hard together in a clear structure is the foundation. It should be evident that we are a team", says Hermansson, whose contract extends over the 2027-28 season, in a press release.
The reigning champion team Skellefteå was eliminated in the SM semifinal against Brynäs this season.
