The goal is to expand and formalize several years of collaboration with Swedish industry, the Swedish government and the Armed Forces, according to Helsing.
"The new presence in Stockholm will serve as the operational center for Helsing's Nordic operations: AI software development, defense partnerships, and building a sovereign defense capability for Sweden and the wider Baltic Sea region," Helsing writes.
Helsing, with Daniel Ek as chairman and co-founder, specializes in AI technology and autonomous systems for air and underwater defense.
