Swayvo Twain, who goes by that stage name, is the son of the late artists D'Angelo and Angie Stone. In the film "Snoop," he will now play hip-hop giant Biggie Smalls, writes Variety.

Biggie was born Christopher George Latore Wallace, but is best known by his stage name The Notorious B.I.G. He was shot to death in 1997, at just 24 years old.

"Snoop" is scheduled to premiere in 2027. Other actors include Jonathan Daviss in the title role, Myles Bullock as Dr. Dre, Camron Jones as Tupac Shakur and Algee Smith as Warren G.
