Just over 25 years ago, in 2001, the company rolled out a share program that gave employees the opportunity to buy up to 15 shares for 200 Danish kroner each. Those who took advantage of the offer and have held on to their shares can now make a big profit.

The company’s buyback program involves offering to buy back B shares for just over SEK 21,000 each, or 10,000 percent above the original price. The industrial group, which makes energy optimization products, has sent the offer to all employees.

The company’s main owner, the Clausen family, currently owns shares representing 99.89 percent of the votes in the company.
