An explosion kills a 24-year-old woman who is sleeping in a townhouse in Fullerö, outside Uppsala. An 18-year-old rapper is hit and then shot several times in the head in front of children and young people on a sports field in Fruängen, in southern Stockholm. A bomb causes havoc in a townhouse area in Hässelby, and a man is shot dead in Södermalm, Stockholm.
The list of serious crimes that Ildar Galiyev is charged with is long when his trial begins on Tuesday in the security room of the Stockholm District Court, before a large media gathering.
Great capital of violence
Galiyev sits at the front of the defendants' bench, slumped in a chair between his two lawyers. He has short, neat hair and is wearing a dark hoodie and a face mask.
According to the police, he is an individual with a large amount of violent capital and belongs to the Dalen network, says prosecutor Lukas Tigerstrand.
Galiyev was initially a so-called errand boy in the network, but over time he rose higher and higher in its hierarchy, according to the prosecutor.

The number of members has fluctuated, but above all, increased. There is a core, and Ildar Galiyev is part of it, says Tigerstrand.
Directed crimes from Greece
The crimes in the indictment, one of the largest ever brought against an individual in Sweden, are linked to the network's gang war with Foxtrot, particularly in 2023. The conflict is mainly about competition for drug markets.
Galiyev is accused of having been directly involved at the scene of some crimes, but is mainly said to have directed others to commit crimes by phone from Greece, where he was from the summer of 2023.
For example, during the murder of the rapper in Fruängen and the fatal shooting in Södermalm, he is alleged to have been on ongoing video calls with the perpetrators and instructed them. The prosecutor shows the court a video of the call during the murder in Södermalm, in which a man is heard urging the person at the scene to shoot the victim in the head. According to Tigerstrand, it is Galiyev who can be heard speaking.
The evidence against the 26-year-old consists mainly of material from encrypted chats. The prosecutors believe that, with the help of, among other things, photographs and contacts with relatives, they have managed to link him to several aliases involved in violent crimes.
Galiyev was arrested in Greece in the summer of 2024 after cooperation between Swedish and Greek police, and was extradited in early 2026. He denies any wrongdoing.
