Adjusted operating profit is estimated at EUR 4.1 billion for the full year, compared with EUR 3.7 billion in a previous forecast. Forecasts for the number of vehicles sold, industrial revenue, operating margin and free cash flow are also revised upwards.
However, weak demand in Latin America and Mexico is pulling down the forecast for bus deliveries.
In the second quarter, Daimler Truck reported preliminary operating profit of 838 million euros, slightly less than the average forecast of 878 million according to Bloomberg.
Daimler Truck's final interim figures will be published on August 7.
