The son wanted to grow taller – so the father injected him with steroids. Now the father is being sentenced for, among other things, assault, reports Värmlands Folkblad.

It was the boy's mother who reported the incident to the police in April 2022. According to the investigation, the 14-year-old wanted to enter puberty to grow taller, so his father acquired steroids and injected them into his son.

In messages, the father urged his son to conceal the whole thing from his mother, the father's former partner.

"You need a male role model, otherwise you'll become too soft, unfortunately", the father wrote in a text message to the boy, according to VF.

During a search of the father's home, over 74,000 kronor in cash was seized, as well as large quantities of narcotics: 178 grams of amphetamine, 34 grams of cocaine, over 1.2 kilograms of cannabis, and over 4,800 tablets classified as narcotics.

The man has now been sentenced to two years in prison for assaulting his son, drug and doping offenses, theft, and minor weapons offenses.
