The defence conglomerate Saab has received an order for the air defence system Mobile Short-Range Air Defence (MSHORAD) from the Czech Republic's Ministry of Defence, writes the defence conglomerate in a press release.

The order is valued at 1.8 billion kronor and deliveries will take place 2028-2030, according to Saab.

"The order includes Saab's mobile fire units based on the short-range robot system RBS 70 NG and Bolide missiles. Saab will integrate the MSHORAD solution on the MARS S-330 vehicle, which is manufactured by the Czech company SVOS", writes Saab.

"The air defense solution will also include a command system delivered by a Czech partner together with Saab and a radar system, which is already in operation with the Czech defense, from another supplier", adds Saab.
