The cyclist, a woman in her 60s, was hit by a car, according to SVT Nyheter Skåne.
The police are investigating the incident as aggravated manslaughter and gross negligence in traffic.
"It is very early in the investigation. No one has been charged with a crime," says Evelina Olsson, a police spokesperson.
