The accident occurred early Monday morning and passersby called SOS Alarm.
In the afternoon, police confirmed that the man had died.
"It is true that the person has died. He was a man in his 60s. He was reportedly on his way to work on his bicycle when he was hit by a falling tree," police spokesperson Emelie Lundqvist told SVT.
