Sweden started the Curling World Cup at a furious pace and won seven straight victories.
Then came a tougher day of competition when Team Edin lost to both Switzerland and Canada.
Canada recently won gold in the Olympics, but is using a different team for the World Cup tournament.
But Sweden bounced back and got back on the winning track. They first defeated Germany 8–3, which meant Sweden qualified for the playoffs. A few hours later they faced Poland and took a convincing 9–1 victory.
Sweden's next match is against the Czech Republic at 10:00 PM on Thursday. It is Sweden's last match in the group stage.
The World Curling Championships are held in Utah, USA.
