All of them took part in a large-scale evacuation exercise in which authorities and organizations practiced moving people from one place to another on Gotland. People were transported by bus to a so-called reception site, where evacuees can receive temporary accommodation, food and other support.
The exercise took place in the areas around Bro, Väskinde and Roma. Participants included the Swedish Armed Forces, the Gotland County Administrative Board, Region Gotland (the regional health authority) and the Church of Sweden.
The exercise is not linked to any current change in the external situation, according to the county administrative board.
