According to VG, however, Crown Princess Mette-Marit will remain at home in Oslo. Mette-Marit suffers from the chronic lung disease pulmonary fibrosis. In December, it was announced that the disease had worsened and that she is now on the waiting list for a lung transplant.
"The threshold for not participating in anniversaries and solemn celebrations in the royal family is generally very high," says VG's royal reporter Yngve Kvistad.
The Norwegian court confirms the trip and says the royal couple and the crown prince will use the royal ship Norge during their stay in Stockholm.
