"Glee" creator Ryan Murphy's series "All's Fair" is getting a second season. The lawyer drama has been called "a girl boss fantasy" and panned by critics. Nevertheless, it is a success for the streaming service Hulu, writes Variety.

"All's Fair" follows a group of female divorce lawyers who leave a male-dominated law firm to start their own. In addition to Kim Kardashian, the roles are played by Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson, Teyana Taylor and Glenn Close.

The series premiered as Hulu's biggest audience success in three years. But critics weren't kind, and the series has received almost exclusively brutal reviews. Now it's become popular and, according to Variety, has been labeled a kind of "camp"—a kitschy turkey.

Teyana Taylor has come out in defense of "All's fair".

It's our first season, you have to be a little lenient with us, she said in an interview with Variety.
