Criticized FIS chairman lost the election

Following the criticism, Johan Eliasch, chairman of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation, lost the election for a new term as chairman.

By a very narrow margin, Alexander Ospelt of Liechtenstein won with 50.39 percent of the votes to 49.61 percent for Eliasch.
