Heavy loss in the bronze medal match - then Damkronorna captain Anna Kjellbin sharply criticized the standard of refereeing. "Women's hockey has developed so much that you need higher standards and better referees," she says.

When Switzerland won the dramatic match in Milan after extra time (2–1), Sweden was awarded a penalty in regulation time (Ebba Svensson Träff saved it).

"I don't know much about the penalty situation specifically, but I think the refereeing level is far too low," says Anna Kjellbin.

Sweden had to play once in numerical superiority - Switzerland had two power plays. Both times Kjellbin was sent to the penalty box. On the first one, she thinks the opponent fell too easily after a push.

"The second one, I'll do the same thing over and over again, so I don't know how they'll call that an expulsion."

Are you generally critical of the level of refereeing in the Olympics?

"It's actually a bit too low based on how women's hockey has developed. Hockey today is at an incredibly high level."
