Kinský made two serious mistakes as Atlético Madrid went 3-0 up against Tottenham after just 16 minutes.
Tudor then chose to replace Kinský. When Kinský left the pitch, Tudor stared out across the field. The perceived heartlessness prompted reactions from several high-profile goalkeepers.
"For me, what he did there was to kill his career. It takes a lot to get over it," says former goalkeeper Schmeichel.
"My heart broke," says former England goalkeeper Joe Hart.
Kinský has also received support from David De Gea and Paul Robinson, a former Tottenham goalkeeper.
Atlético won the Champions League round of 16 5–2.
