The World Cup song "Leva för alltid" was released on Friday, but on social media many have reacted to the fact that the chorus is not newly written.
According to SVT, it is taken from an earlier Stenström song that was the soundtrack to the Swedish television series "Leva livet" from 2023.
"It's a three-year-old song. It wasn't about football and the World Cup then - and it still isn't. Do it again, do it right," reads one of the comments on the artist's Instagram account.
Before the song's release, Stenström told Kulturnyheterna that he and a friend wrote the song several years ago.
