Life-saving measures were implemented at the scene and the man was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
The police have launched a preliminary investigation into suspected work environment violations and causing bodily harm.
Police spokesman Daniel Wikdahl says that the police have a good starting point in the investigation.
"We have heard from his colleagues, several of whom are witnesses to what happened. We have also secured a film that shows parts of the sequence of events," he says.
