The situation for the presidential candidate Miguel Uribe, who was shot in the head when he spoke in a park in Colombia's capital Bogotá on Saturday, is still "extremely serious".
The university hospital Santa Fe states on Monday afternoon, Swedish time, that Uribe has "barely" responded to the care efforts, including several operations, and is still in a critical condition with an uncertain prognosis.
The 39-year-old senator for the right-wing party Centro Democrático, who has announced that he will stand in next year's presidential election, was shot in the head and leg.
A 15-year-old boy has been arrested, suspected of the deed, where two more people were injured.
The motive is still unclear.
