"After dialogue with the company's largest shareholder and after carefully considering what will be required, I have decided to accept the nomination to return to Kinnevik's board", writes Stenbeck in a comment and continues:

"It will be important to strengthen Kinnevik's position as a relevant investment company in the work of supporting leading growth companies. After my 16 years on Kinnevik's board, I am aware of the challenges that come with this task, but also the opportunities that a permanent capital base and a well-formulated strategy provide in investments".

Cristina Stenbeck was previously chairman of Kinnevik between 2007 and 2016.

At the same time, four board members are leaving the board, including Northvolt investor Harald Mix.
