The verdict against the two men who made Hitler greetings during a football match is established in the court of appeal.

In June earlier this year, two men in their 20s were sentenced to conditional sentence and day fines for incitement against a ethnic group, after they were caught on video making Nazi greetings during a match between Malmö FF and Västerås SK in the Swedish cup.

The judgment was appealed to the court of appeal – which now confirms the judgment.

The two men claimed that they were just cheering on their team, but the district court considered that their arm movements differed from the rest of the audience in the stands.
