After two high-profile and fatal crashes in 2018 and 2019, Boeing's 737 Max aircraft model was grounded for almost two years, meaning customers could not use the plane in their operations.

Polish airline LOT has hit back at Boeing after the crashes, accusing the company of fraud. LOT claims that Boeing made “intentional and negligent disclosures” and leaked important information about the 737 Max, and has sued the company for $250 million in lost revenue.

The jury sided with Boeing.

"We are pleased with the jury's verdict in our favor," a Boeing spokesperson told AFP.
