The rape occurred in February at a nursing home where the man, who is in his 40s, worked.
In July, he was sentenced despite his denial to six years in prison. He was also to pay 320,000 kronor in damages to the affected woman.
The man appealed to the court of appeal, which now reduces the sentence to imprisonment for five years and six months. The amount of damages is also reduced to 270,000 kronor.
