By all accounts, the family affected when a hand grenade was thrown through a bedroom window in early April last year had no criminal connections.

The explosion started a massive fire, and a woman was so badly injured that both her legs had to be amputated.

Like Södertörn District Court (a district court), the Svea Court of Appeal (a court of appeal) sentences the man considered the instigator of the bombing to life imprisonment. He has been deemed to belong to the Foxtrot network and is also convicted of instigating an explosion in Skärholmen a few weeks earlier.

At the same time, the sentence for the man who threw the hand grenade in Tumba is increased slightly, to 14 years and 10 months in prison.

The Court of Appeal also sentences two other men and a 16-year-old boy for various crimes.
