Morgan Wallen pleaded guilty to two counts of endangering others for the incident that took place on April 7. A drunk Wallen then threw down two chairs from a rooftop bar six floors up and came close to hitting the two police officers on the street below.
After the incident, Morgan Wallen released a statement where he took responsibility for what had happened, explaining that he was "not proud" of what had occurred.
Wallen was initially charged with more serious crimes, which could have led to imprisonment. However, after cooperating with the police and prosecutor and apologizing, the penalty was milder.
Morgan Wallen is one of the biggest names in the country music world and he performed last summer at the Strawberry arena outside Stockholm. The 33-year-old's two latest albums have both topped the American charts. This year's big hit "I had some help" with Post Malone has been played over 800 million times on Spotify.
