The increase in March now stands at 2.0 percent compared to the same month last year, according to revised, seasonally and calendar-adjusted statistics from Statistics Sweden. The originally published figure on April 29 incorrectly indicated an increase of 3.1 percent.
Sales in the grocery trade were mainly revised downward, from 3.1 to 1.1 percent.
According to Statistics Sweden, the error was unique and was caused by incorrect values being used in subsequent calculations.
