Corporate bankruptcies rise again after seven-month decline, Syna says

In total, 532 limited companies went bankrupt during July this year, writes Dagens Industri.

Metropolitan regions are among the hardest hit. In Skåne, bankruptcies increased by 39 percent compared with the previous year, and in Stockholm the corresponding figure is 17 percent.

Since the start of the year, bankruptcies have decreased by six percent.

"The fear is that this trend break means a new increase again," says Stefan Sandgren, statistics manager at Syna, to Di.
